Albert B. BlixtAl Blixt helps organizations of all kinds work through very complex challenges to become more strategic, innovative and adaptive. He combines practical experience as an attorney, university professor and business owner with a mastery of the Whole-Scale® Change methodology to design and facilitate change journeys that engage leaders and staff so they can create solutions that everyone can support. Much of his work focuses on strategic planning and implementation. Al is equally comfortable coaching senior leadership teams or facilitating transformative large-group meetings of 50-500 or more. He works in all sectors including government, education, business, unions and nonprofits. Representative clients include Ford Motor Company, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, the Florida Education Association, Cadbury-Schweppes-Adams Division and the State of Michigan Office of Services for the Aging. Al is the co-author of three books and numerous articles on organizational change. He is a frequent public speaker. Al holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan. Dannemiller (1929-2003)Our beloved friend, mentor, partner and founder, Kathie Dannemiller passed away Friday, December 26, 2003. Kathie was a passionate advocate for whole system change for more than thirty years, and a worldwide authority and author on the complexities of whole system change. Kathie touched each person whether they spent a few minutes or a lifetime with her. We will miss her unending caring, strength, passion, and wisdom. Mary EggersMary Eggers is committed to helping organizations and communities unleash their creativity and innovative thinking in service of achieving the future of their choosing. Building on her experience working in banking, education, government, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing and non-profit Mary’s work has focused on strategic planning, culture change, team development and redesigning business processes. She has worked in organization such as Best Friends, Corning, Covenant HomeCare, East Jefferson General Hospital, Presbyterian Villages of MI, The University of MD and World Vision US. She earned her MS in Organization Development from The American University. Marsha Hughes-ReaseMarsha Hughes-Rease has over twenty-five years of leadership experience and fifteen years of both internal and external consulting experience. The focus of her work is helping organizations respond strategically to the demands of a turbulent environment. Using an intentional and inclusive approach, Marsha partners with clients to help them “discover” their own best practices to increase their organizational effectiveness. She has extensive experience working in healthcare, higher education, government, military, and manufacturing applying whole system thinking to strategic planning and strategy execution, leader and team development, diversity management, and creating cultures that attract and retain talent. Sylvia JamesIn aerospace in the mid-1980’s, Sylvia pioneered what today we call "Whole-Scale® Change,” working with Kathleen Dannemiller in developing these processes. Today, she works globally with communities and organizations to bring about rapid, sustained change in strategy, culture, processes, structure, systems, and roles. Her strength is convening stakeholders around “gnarly,” system-wide issues in order to combine their wisdom and create breakthrough solutions. She is a coach to individuals and teams at all levels and a presenter at conferences and workshops around the world. Sylvia is co-author of two books by Dannemiller Tyson Associates; chapter contributor to The Change Handbook (2006) and The Handbook of Large Group Methods: Creating Systemic Change in Organizations and Communities (2006). Her journal articles include “Accelerating Strategic Change: Application of the Whole-Scale Approach to Leading and Managing Change” (“Learnende Organisation” January 2004 issue, Institut für Systemisches Coaching und Training, Vienna, Austria). Her work is described by others in Fusion Leadership, “Employees Redesign HR” (Human Resource Professional July/Aug 1997), and Large Group Interventions: Engaging the Whole System for Rapid Change. Lorri has worked in a variety of settings ranging from manufacturing and health care to the nonprofit sector and community-based initiatives. Her approach is based on whole systems thinking and applications include strategic planning and implementation, organization and process design, culture change and training. Lorri also has extensive experience in nonprofit capacity building. Roland LoupOver the past 20 years Roland Loup has engaged in whole system consulting with a variety of profit and nonprofit organizations, state and national governments, and universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, India and Australia. Specific applications include strategy development and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, culture change and quality systems implementation. He has co-designed and co-facilitated workshops on the Whole-Scale Change process in the United States, Europe, Canada and India and is co-founder and co- presenter of "Intentional Interventions - Diagnosis and Design for Consultants and Trainers" and "The Whole Systems Practicum - An Experience in Laboratory Learning." Roland has written numerous articles on the practice of OD and is coauthor of the two books: Whole-Scale Change: Unleashing the Magic in Organizations and Whole-Scale Change Toolkit. Beverly W. SeifordBev has over 25 years of experience as an organization development consultant, project director, and educator. She has facilitated strategic planning, process improvement, leadership development, conflict resolution, and team building initiatives for Fortune 100 corporations, federal and state governments, healthcare and educational institutions, and not-for-profit agencies. She focuses on helping clients create a culture that supports superior organizational performance, on-going individual employee development, and the effective use of available resources in the context of a constantly changing environment. Bev is the author of several articles on bringing about whole-systems change and has vast experience facilitating groups of 5 to 500 to tap their wisdom and gain alignment on solutions to their convening issues.
